Washburn Locals (13 September 1962)

 

Mrs. Arnold Huth, Jr., will entertain the Washburn Homemakers club today (Thursday).  Dinner will be served at noon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harley Carter and nephew, Ronald Deloski, of Omaha, were recent weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Simmons.

 

Karen Trachte, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Trachte, and Carol Horehled, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Horehled, went to Eau Claire Sunday, where they are students at the vocational school. They are taking business courses.  Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Abrahamson of Fairchild took Karen there Sunday afternoon, and Carol’s parents took her Sunday evening.

 

The Cannonville Ladies Aid will meet at the church September 20.  Dinner will be served at noon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis attended the wedding of a relative in Waukesha Saturday and spent the weekend with their son, George, and son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hartenstein.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dahnert of Cambridge, and Mr. and Mrs. William Heiking of Lake Mills, spent the weekend at the Herman Dahnert home.  They also visited at the Fred Stelloh home.  Mr. and Mrs. Don Syth and son of Eau Claire, and Mr. and Mrs. John Reinart and family were Sunday dinner guests at the Dahnert home, also.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bill Feutz and Mrs. Ethel Manthey of Waunakee spent the weekend at the Christ Feutz home.  Mr. and Mrs. Chris Feutz and son and their guests spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. (missing names)
