Flood, Angus (Selling business - APR 1945)

At the close of this week Angus Flood will retire from the feed store and milling business.  He has sold the warehouse, equipment and stock to J. Art Johnson, who will be ready to operate the business next Monday morning.  During the few years Mr. Flood has owned the former Albert Miller Warehouse he has enjoyed an exceptionally lively trade.  He is retiring from this line, partly owing to a health question, and will direct his efforts to the farming machinery business in the former Brandstedter hall building.  A line of farm hardware to be added is one of his plans for the future.

Mr. Johnson expects to have his son Karl as a partner in the business, when he returns from the service.  Until that time he will handle it alone, having help in the busy part of the seasons.
