Washburn (10 May 1962)

 

Mrs. John Reinart, Mrs. Eugene Simmons, Mrs. George Gorbet, Mrs. Ralph Short, Mrs. Arnold Huth, Sr., and Mrs. Chris Feutz went to Greenwood Friday night for rehearsal for the Style show at Achievement day Tuesday.

 

The Cannonville Ladies Aid will meet at the church today (Thursday).  Dinner will be served at noon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kapfer attended the 10th wedding anniversary party and dance in honor of her cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Kissinger, Saturday night at a supper club, followed by a reception and lunch at their home near Chili.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Buddinger and family of Sycamore, Ill., spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.  William Buddinger, and attended the funeral of his uncle, Louis Buddinger, in Colby Saturday afternoon.  Mr. and Mrs. William Buddinger and Mr. and Mrs. Whitey Buddinger also attended the funeral.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Barney Plummer and daughters were Saturday evening visitors at the Oliver Williams home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dandy Dehart spent Wednesday evening at the Mrs. Art Odell home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Casper Dieter visited Thursday evening at the Irving Stevens home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert spent the weekend in Tomah with the Ted Hillert family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert and Mrs. Walter Trimberger attended the funeral services for Louis Buddinger in Colby Saturday.

 

Miss Nancy Sternitzky is enjoying a month’s vacation at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sternitzky. She is a junior student of nursing at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.  In June she will commence her affiliations, first going to Mendota State Hospital for three months.
