House, Harold (1920? - May 10, 2011)

 

Harold House, 91, of Unity passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at the House of the Dove in Marshfield, where he was cared for by the most kind and loving people you could ever hope to meet.


He is survived by his wife, Loraine, and the family who loved him dearly. Harold and Loraine would have been married for 70 years on July 23. Also surviving are his son, Kenny, and his wife, Shirley; daughter, Tana and her husband, Rick Phillips; grandson, Corey; and great-grandson, Brett Harold House.


Harold farmed near Curtiss thru 1954, when they moved to Abbotsford to begin Harold House Construction Company, which he operated until he retired. After retirement he built two log homes and spent numerous hours in his shop making many beautiful woodworking projects.
He was a life long member of Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss and also the Colby Lions Club.


Funeral Services for Harold were held at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Curtiss on Saturday, May 14, at 1:00 p.m. Burial was at Pine Hill Cemetery in the Town of Mayville.


The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford assisted the family with arrangements.
