For her wedding to Marvin Marg in Trinity Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Saturday May 5, Miss Bonnie Olson chose a wedding gown with a lace bodice featured with a stand up collar and v-neck-line, and a nylon tulle skirt over satin. Her finger tip veil fell from a lace cap beaded with pearls. Her flowers were yellow roses and white stephanotis.

 

Miss Orel Olson, Spring Green, was her sister’s maid of honor. They are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Olson of Loyal. Mrs. Orin Libby, Neillsville, sister of the groom was bridesmaid. The maid of honor and bridesmaid wore identically styled gowns. Miss Olson’s of white, and Mrs. Libby’s of blue. Their floor length skirts were of nylon tulle and their strapless, lace bodices were worn with lace jackets. Their flowers were yellow roses, white stephanotis, gladioli, and forget-me-nots.

 

The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marg, Neillsville, chose his friends, Ted Clintsman, Waukesha, for his best man, and Robert Zager, Neillsville, for his groomsman. Ushers were Ronald Toltzmzn, Spencer, cousin of the bride, and Clarence Wegner, Neillsville, cousin of the groom.

 

Miss Margaret Rottjer was organist and Vern Dahiby, brothers-in-law of the bride, sang, "The Lord’s Prayer" and "Today, O Lord". The Rev. John Pfohl was officiant at the wedding ceremony. Following the services a supper was served in the church parlors.

 

The groom is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and is employed by the Redville Dairy, Greenwood. The bride, who is employed by the John Wuethrich Creamery Co. of Greenwood, and is a graduate of the Loyal High School.

 

When the new Mr. and Mrs. Marg return from a honeymoon in western states, they will live in Loyal.

 

Mrs. Olson wore a turquoise suit at her daughter’s wedding, and the groom’s mother wore a navy suit.
