North Pine Valley (5 Mar 1914)
During the high wind Saturday Mr. Pflughoeft’s chimney burned out, but no damage was done.
Louie Marg spent Sunday at home.
Helen Anding returned to Granton Monday after spending a few days at the home of Sherman Gress.
Mr. Pflughoeft and wife are entertaining people from Oshkosh this week.
Last Friday an officer from the U.S. Navy came here and took Otto Gotschky, a deserter from the Navy. Mr. Gotschky has been staying with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher, on the old Deutschland place.
