Rossow, Paul E. (24 NOV 1889 - 27 APR 1960)

 

Funeral services for Paul Ernest Rossow, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), were held April 30, 1960, at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.  Rev. Byrl Knudsen, pastor of Nazareth Lutheran Church conducted the final rites with burial being made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

During the services vocal numbers were sung by Bunee Kraut, with Mrs. Duane Morschek serving as accompanist.

 

In charge of the floral offerings were Mesdames Louis Kurhais and Al Bower.  Pallbearers were Art Schmick, Earl Plaman, Al Bower, Paul Rossow Jr., Buster Rohland and Marlyn Plaman.

 

Death came to Paul Rossow April 27th, 1960 at St. Joseph’s Hospital where he was being treated for complications of old age.  He was 70 years, 6 months and 7 days of age, having been born Nov. 24, 1889 at Greenwood.

 

On May 30, 1921 he was united in marriage to Elda Englebretson in a ceremony performed in Neillsville.  Throughout his life he was employed as a laborer in this community.

 

He is survived by a son, Paul; four daughters, Gladys, Phyliss, Audrey and Karen, one sister, Mrs. John (Minnie) Brandt, and five brothers, Charles, Albert, Otto, William and Fred.
