Johnson, Carol J. (12 MAR 1960)

Miss Carol Jean Johnson of Franklin Park, Ill., and Ronald Roger Quelle, also of Franklin Park, exchanged marriage vows at a private candlelight service Saturday, March 12, 1960, with the Rev. Theodore Predoehl officiating at the six o’clock ceremony at the rectory.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Johnson of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mrs. Doral Quelle of rural Withee.

The bride selected an off white suit.  To complete her outfit she wore accessories in pastel blue.  She wore a corsage of red and white roses.

Mrs. Robert Hautamaki served her cousin as matron of honor.  Miss Dorothy Quelle, the groom’s sister, was bridesmaid.  Mrs. Hautamaki wore a suit in navy blue with accessories.  Miss Quelle wore a beige suit with brown accessories.  Both girls wore pink and white carnation corsages.

Mr. Robert Hautamaki was best man.  Frank Gundy was groomsman.  All men wore business suits with white carnation boutonnieres.

A dinner was served at the Woodland Hotel Dining Room.  Pink and white roses were used for table decorations and a pink and white three tier wedding cake served as a centerpiece.  A reception was held at the bride’s parents home.

Mr. and Mrs. Quelle will make their home at Franklin Park, Ill., where Mr. Quelle is employed at the Motorola Corp. at Franklin Park and Mrs. Quelle is employed at the Du-O-Matic, Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Quelle attended the Owen-Withee public schools.
