Baker, JoAnne (Marriage - 17 February 1962)

The United Church of Christ was the scene Saturday of the double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss JoAnne Baker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Baker, Rt. 3, Neillsville, and John Flynn, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. John Flynn of Neillsville.  The Rev. Frank B. Harcey performed the ceremony before an altar decorated with a basket of pink and white gladioli on each side.

Miss Baker was attired in a street-length lavender sheath dress and carried a nosegay of pink roses. She wore matching hat and shoes, and was given in marriage by her father.

Miss Mary Briggs, Oshkosh, was her maid-of-honor. She wore a brown suit with matching accessories and carried a nosegay of yellow roses.  The bestman was Dennis Harcey.  Ushers were Michael Flynn and Corrin Baker.

Miss Jane Hore of Oshkosh was soloist, and Miss Deon Larsen was organist.

A reception was held in the Masonic Temple, which was decorated with bouquets of pink carnations.

The bride is a student in Wisconsin State College in Oshkosh and will continue until June. The groom has employment in Oshkosh.

Mr. and Mrs. Flynn are residing at 410 Otter Ave., Apt. 3 Oshkosh.
