Mrs. John Kadunc, 58, city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.), suffered a heart attack at her home early Wednesday forenoon of last week and then passed away enroute to St. Joseph’s Hospital in the city’s ambulance.

 

Funeral services were held at two o’clock Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6 at the Alliance Church with the Rev. James Stone, pastor of the parish, officiating.  During the service vocal numbers were sung by Rev. and Mrs. Stone, with Mrs. Duane Morschek accompanying them at the organ.  Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

Serving as pallbearers were Howard Stuve, Herman Neuman, Edward Bjorn, Roy Anderson, Axel Lindgren and C. E. Beck.  In charge of the floral offerings were Mrs. Herman Neuman, Mrs. Edward Bjorn, Mrs. Roy Anderson and Mrs. Howell Stuve.

 

Mrs. John Kadunc, nee Etta Ellen Markee, was born June 11, 1900, at Burr Ridge, Vernon County, Wis.  When a girl 11 years of age she moved with her family to Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), where she resided until her marriage to William G. Otto on Oct. 14, 1926.  He preceded her in death, passing away Sept. 20, 1940.

 

On the 25th of December, 1948, she was united in marriage to John Kadunc, who survives her.

 

Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Delbert (Violet) Busch of Kewauskum, and seven stepchildren; one brother, Clarence Markee, Owen; and two sisters, Mrs. William (Dorothy) Franz, Owen, and Mrs. Paul (Nina) Pederstuen of Knapp, and two grandchildren, Barbara and Bonnie Busch.

 

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Blanche, Mrs. George (Edna) Capes and a twin Nettie, and her parents.
