Nelson, Lillian  (24 AUG 1876-22 DEC 1953)

 

Mrs. Frederick Nelson, formerly Lillian May Schupe, born August 24, 1876, passed away December 22 at Marshfield in St. Joseph’s Hospital. Mrs. Nelson was born in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. She moved to Clark county with her parents at the age of four, and resided on a farm north of Loyal.

 

The deceased taught school for approximately ten years, beginning at the age of eighteen. She married Frederick A. Nelson, August 17, 1904, at Withee. Shortly after their marriage they moved to the state od Washington, where they lived for approximately a year and a half.

 

Mrs. Nelson and her husband returned to Loyal in 1906, where they resided until 1915, at which time they moved to their present home on a farm north of Loyal.

 

Surviving Mrs. Nelson is her husband, Frederick A. Nelson, a son Leon, a grandson Allan Lee, and a sister, Mrs. Cora Waterman of Amery(?). Three brothers preceded her in death.

 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 26, 2:00 p.m. by The Rev. Willard Mecklenburg, pastor of the Loyal Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Loyal Cemetery.
