Beard, Beverly #2 (19 JUL 1958)
St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, Curtiss, was the scene for the wedding of Miss Beverly M. Beard, Westboro and Virgil C. Lueth, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.). The Rev. Theodore Predoehl officiated at the exchange of vows between the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan K. Beard and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fielder Lueth.
Red and white peonies decorated the altar when the bride appeared in a ballerina length gown of white lace and net tulle. Her veil was held by a crown of pearls, and she carried a bouquet of red and white roses.
Mrs. James Nelson, Rockford, Ill., was matron of honor, with Miss Sharon Knight and Miss Rosella Lueth as bridesmaid and junior bridesmaid. They wore ballerina length gowns with lace bodices and skirts of net and lace over taffeta. Mrs. Nelson, the groom’s sister, was attired in yellow with a bouquet of yellow and white carnations. Miss Knight and Miss Lueth wore mint green with green tinted and white carnations.
Escorting the bridal attendants were James Nelson as best man, and Keith Beard, Westboro, the bride’s brother, as groomsman. Ushering the guests were Arnold Lueth and Douglas Beard. Mrs. Jack McCorison furnished the music.
A reception followed the ceremony at the home of the groom’s parents. The couple honeymooned in Canada before making their home in Humbird where the groom, a graduate of Abbotsford High School and Taylor County Normal, will teach elementary school. The bride, a graduate of Westboro High School and Taylor County Normal, has been employed as a teacher at Fawn Valley School, Rib Lake.
