Horn, Patricia Mae (Marriage - 23 September 1961)

The Holy Family Church in Willard was the setting September 23 of the wedding of Miss Patricia Mae Horn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Horn, Willard, and Robert J. Pernic of Chicago, Ill, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pernic, Willard.  The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fr. Merko. A bouquet of pink roses was placed at the altar of the Virgin Mary.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a chapel length gown of pure silk organza.  The fitted bodice was styled with a scoop neckline that was enhanced with lace appliqués highlighted with seed pearls and sequins. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses and stephanotis entwined with green.

Miss Mary Ann Smrecek, Marshfield, was her maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were: Dorothy Kebel of Eau Claire, Carol Kokaly of Wausau, and Mrs. Frank Pekol of Willard.  Judy Gosse and Anita Volovsek were flower girls.

The groom was attended by Stanley Pernic of Chicago, Ill.  His groomsmen were Kenneth Horn, John Pernic and Frank Pekol.  Ushers were Stanley Pekol and Eddie Pernic.

Mr. and Mrs. Pernic are at home after October 1, in Highland Park, Ill., following a wedding trip to the western states.

The bride is a 1960 graduate of the Greenwood High School and has been employed as a secretary in Marshfield. The groom is also a graduate of the Greenwood High School and the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He is an electrical engineer engaged in research work at the University of Chicago.
