Dux, Mr. and Mrs. Herman (40th - 14 September 1961)
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary today (Thursday) September 14 with open house from 2 to 10 p.m. at their home.
They were married in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Weston September 14, 1921, by the Rev. William Parisius. Attending were Mrs. Ed (Lillie) Kroll, Mrs. Bertha (Lueck) Stiemke and Robert Dux.
They lived on the Fred Schlinkert farm for more than 25 years. About 14 years ago they moved back to the home in which Mrs. Dux was born, on the farm of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Schoenherr, where they now reside.
They have two children, Louis and Mrs. Gordon (Gladys) Thoma, both of Weston, and five grandchildren.
