Noah, Keith Wilmer (18 October 1948 - 16 March 2011)

Keith Wilmer Noah, 62, of Neillsville passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Keith was born in Marshfield Oct. 18, 1948, to Herman and Tressa (Roum) Noah.  He graduated from Neillsville High School in 1967 and moved to upper Michigan, where he served in the full-time ministry and began work in auto body repair with his brother-in-law.  He moved back to the area in 1969 and married Sheila Lydiksen. Keith continued his ministry and auto body repair, along with running the Drayline business in Greenwood for several years.  The couple then built their log home and moved their family to rural Neillsville where thy lived until 1992, when they moved to their current home in the city of Neillsville.  Keith worked for Watkins Feed Company as a dairy nutritional analyst until he became disabled in 1981.  His love of life, positive attitude and sense of humor were some of his outstanding qualities that all who knew him loved him for.

Keith was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  His strong faith helped him and his family through many challenging times.  He is well-known for his love of the mountains, horses and muscle cars; most of all, though, he loved spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Sheila; four daughters, Melissa (Kevin) Fredrickson of Black River Falls, Erica Noah of Golden Valley, MN, Erin Noah of Eau Claire and Layne Noah of Neillsville; three grandchildren, Makenna, Aubrey and Peyton; three brothers, Lyall Johnson and Chester (Irma) Johnson both of Neillsville, and Carl Noah; and one brother-in-law, Clarence Kruse of Neillsville; three sisters, Donna (Donald) Brandt of Pittsville, Brenda (Bud) Johnson of Ridgeway and Helen (Donald) Anderson of Statesville, NC; and one sister-in-law, Delores Johnson of Neillsville; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
