Workmen have completed painting the interior of the village library.

 

The Men’s club of the Zion Lutheran Church held a picnic Sunday at Sherwood Park.  Their wives and families were guests.

 

Mrs. Glenn Seitzinger, Washington, D. C., is spending several days in this area and visiting with her mother, Mrs. Charles Neinas, who is a patient in the Neillsville Nursing home. She has been a guest of her brother, Arthur Neinas in Marshfield.

 

Miss Lucille Gorst is spending this week in Neenah as a guest of her aunt, Mrs. Kenneth Grabe.

 

The Royal Neighbor Lodge will meet tonight (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. William Schmidtke.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Eggelston and daughters, Stanton, Cal., who have been visiting relatives in Madison and Rockford, Ill., arrived Monday for a visit at the William Schmidtke home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke and her mother, Mrs. Mabel Austin, were Sunday visitors at the Ross Stevens home in Spencer.


Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Elmhorst, Minneapolis, Minn., visited Sunday with his father, Louis Elmhorst. They were accompanied home by their daughter, Sharon, who had spent three weeks with her grandfather.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Hanson and family spent Sunday in Taylor with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archie Hanson and Mr. and Mrs. William Berg.

 

Sharon Steiner has returned from Mauston, where she visited her grandmother.

 

Mrs. Ora Beeckler was taken ill Saturday evening in Neillsville and was taken to Memorial Hospital for observation. She returned home Monday.
