Felix, John Coulter (7 May 1889 - 27 June 1961)

 

John Coulter Felix, 72, of Greenwood died of a heart attack in his sleep, early June 27, at the home of his son, John N. Felix in the Town of Warner.

 

Mr. Felix was born May 7, 1889, in Newark, Ohio.  He went from Ohio to Chicago Heights, Ill, where he was a steel manufacturer, retiring several years ago.  He had made his home here for the past four years with his son and family.

 

Surviving him are two sons, John N. of Greenwood and Gerald N. of Chicago; and three grandsons, Douglas, Bruce and James Felix of Greenwood.

 

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold sang two hymns accompanied by Mrs. Don Warner.

 

Pallbearers were: Lawrence Larson, Gerald Jollivette, Conrad Krogness, Donald Knoll, Harry Marvin and Dennis Larson.
