A wedding trip to northern Wisconsin followed the 10 o’clock wedding Saturday morning, Aug. 27, 1955, of Patricia Mae Lewandowski and Ronald L. Davel at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Appleton.  The Rev. Wilbert Staudenmeier officiated.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lewandowski of Menasha wore a white floor length dress of lace and nylon net over satin, with a high Peter Pan collar and long waisted bodice.  Her fingertip veil of illusion was secured to a small white headpiece.  Her bridal bouquet was white gardenias and stephanotis.

A dinner at 12 o’clock and a reception from 2 to 4 were both given in the Sacred Heart Church Hall, with open house at 6:30 at the home of the bride.

The bride is a graduate of the Menasha High School and holds a B.A. degree from Carthage College, Carthage, Ill.  She teaches seventh grad English and general science in the Menasha Junior High School.  The groom is a graduate of the Loyal High School.  He received his B.A. degree from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.  He served in the U.S. marines for two years, one of which was in Korea.  He is employed as a salesman for the Merchant Calculations, Inc., in Oshkosh.

Mrs. Lewandowski attended her daughter’s wedding in a dress of forest green Dacron, and the groom’s mother wore an aqua dress.
