Chili, Wisconsin (15 June 1961)

 

The W. S. W. S. of the Evangelical United Brethren Church met Wednesday afternoon.  The Rev. L. L. McCormick was the devotional leader. The topic was, "United Through the Study of His Word."  Mrs. Jessie Spry conducted the business meeting.  The youth leader, Mrs. Manford Cain, reported that the fellowship will have a bake sale June 24, to raise money for Camp Lucerne.  Mrs. Ed Ott asked the ladies to continue saving stamps and nylons. Mrs. E. S. Antrim was a guest.  Hostesses were Mrs. Mabel Gallagher and Mrs. Irene Lindow.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bandt and family spent the weekend in Plymouth with the William Baumgartner family.

 

Mrs. Roy Jennings is making an extended visit at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Veltus, in Racine.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Zimmerman of Madison are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Zimmerman.

 

Sunday guests at the Gordon Davis home were: Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Holmes and Mr. and Mrs. Percy Whitmore of Hancock, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller of Rockford, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Arleigh Davis and family of Verona, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schmidtke of Granton.

 

Rev. and Mrs. E. S. Antrim and family of Alma visited Wednesday and Thursday at the Marlyn Lindow home.
