Dickson, Karon (1889 - 26 April 1961)

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday from the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee for Mrs. Karon Dickson, 72, who died April 26, in a nursing home in Mondovi. The Rev. Barry L. Knutsen was in charge of the service. Burial was made in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Dickson was born in 1889 in Lempsi, Nebr. She was married to the Rev. J. L. J. Dickson in 1900 in Council Bluffs, Ia., and lived in Withee for about 20 years.  Her husband died five years ago in Withee.

Surviving are three daughters and two sons: Mrs. Marie Kajar of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Sarah Borge of Reserve, Mont., Mrs. Carl (Esther) Whozn of Savage, Minn., Skat Dickson of St. Paul, Minn., and Alfred Dickson of Ellenburg, Minn.  Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Andrew Christiansen and Miss Dora Rasmussen, both of St. Paul; and a brother, Senn Rassmussen of Council Bluffs, Ia.

*I’ve been told, the actual spelling of the name Dickson here should be Dixen.
