Heindl, Margaret M. (18 JUL 1925 - 14 FEB 2011)

 

MEDFORD -- Margaret M. Heindl, 85, of Medford formerly of Dorchester, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011, at Memorial Health Center, Medford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester. Burial will follow in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Dorchester from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.; and Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.

Margaret was born July 18, 1925, in the town of Holton to Julius and Katherine (Schnell) Mayr. She was united in marriage to Clemence Heindl on Aug. 17, 1948, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Bristol. Clem and Margaret bought a farm west of Dorchester and farmed until selling the farm in 1995 and moving to rural Medford.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Clemence Heindl; children, Jerome (Sally) Heindl of Colby, Cheryl (Jim) Ploeckelman of Stetsonville and Teri (Richard) Bartnik of Abbotsford; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Marie Carver of Illinois, Isabelle (Art) Haas of Abbotsford, Leander (June) Mayr of Colorado, Joe Mayr of Lodi, Julius (Bridgette) Mayr of Deforest and Bernard (Beverly) Mayr of Deforest.
