Otto, George (23 April 1885 - 11 October 1954)

 

George Otto, 69, died at his home northeast of Loyal at 6:15 a.m. Monday, October 11.  His death was the result of a heart attack.  Funeral services will be held in Trinity Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Thursday.  The Rev. E. E. Aalto will officiate at the services.  The body which has been lying in sate at the Myre Funeral Home since Tuesday evening will be taken to the church at noon Thursday. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery.

 

George Otto was born in Germany, April 23, 1885.  At 18 years of age he came to the United States and lived in Milwaukee.  After five years, he returned to Germany and was there married to Mathilda Dallmann, March 5, 1909.  They came to Milwaukee and lived there for five years. They then moved to their present farm home in the Town of Beaver, where they have resided for the past 40 years.

 

Mr. Otto was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

 

He is survived by his wife: four children, a daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Alma) Pieper, Loyal; a son, Paul Otto, of Milwaukee, a daughter, Mrs. Orvin (LaVern) Litka, Milwaukee, and a daughter, Mrs. Allan (Marvis) Luber, Loyal; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Carl Otto, Milwaukee; and two sisters, Mrs. Michael Kohl, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Charles Bergold, Marinette.

 

Two sons and four sisters preceded him in death.
