Scheel, Jamie  (15 JUNE 1973-12 DEC 2010)

 

Jamie R. Scheel, 37, Marshfield, formerly of Loyal, died on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010, in Marshfield. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 15, at the Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, and again on Thursday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m., until funeral services at 11 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Rev. Daniel Zimmerman wii officiate. Burial will follow in the Loyal City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Scheel, Kreg Scheel, William Salzwedel, Art Scheel, Harry Scheel, Rob Noeldner, Jim Sachs and Aaron Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Scheel and Matthew Scheel.

 

Jamie Roy Scheel was born on June 15, 1973, in Marshfield, to James and Linda (Salzwedel) Scheel. He was raised in the Loyal area and attended Loyal area schools. After high school, he went to work at Chili Implement. He married Amy Schultz on Sept. 18, 1999, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal. He also worked ay Weyer’s dairy farm in Loyal, and Heeg Farms in Chili. His hobbies included tractor pulling, camping, bonfires, and spending time with family and friends. He was an amazing dad who always had a smile on his face and gave "Big Teddy Bear Hugs" to everyone.

 

Survivors include his wife, Amy, Marshfield; three children, Tanner, Elias and Lindy, all at home; his mother, Linda Scheel, Chili; two brothers, Christopher (Tara) Scheel, Loyal, and Matthew Scheel, Loyal; his maternal grandparents, Elroy and Velda Salzwedel, Chili; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Scheel, Owen; eight nieces and nephers, Mariah, Tyne, Cesyn, Tryn, Abigail, Noah, Ethan and Ella; two brothers-in-law, James Schultz, Milwaukee, and John (DD) Schultz, Kettering, Ohio; his mother-in-law, Judy Decker, Portage; and his father-in-law, Rod (Vickie) Schultz of Palmer, Alaska.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, James Scheel; his paternal grandfather, Ralph Scheel; and one brother, Troy Scheel.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to an account in his name at Central City Credit Union in Marshfield.
