Knight, Sandra M. (5 NOV 1938 - 13 DEC 2010)

COLBY -- Sandra M. Knight, 72, of Colby passed away Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, in the Palliative Care Unit of Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. The Rev. Bonnie Cain will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will take place at the Abbotsford Public Cemetery at a later date.

Sandy was born Nov. 5, 1938, to Edwin and Ruby (Pacholke) Fults in Owen. She was a 1956 graduate of Abbotsford High School. Sandra was joined in marriage to Gordon Knight at Christ Lutheran Church in Abbotsford on June 16, 1956. After her marriage, she was a secretary and housewife and in later years managed an antique shop in Abbotsford and worked for the Colby School District.

Sandra enjoyed garage sales, auctions and spending time at the Cranberry Hilton.

She is lovingly survived by her husband, Gordon of Colby; her children, Cindy Knight of Owen and John (Diane) Knight of Green Bay; three grandchildren, Morgan, Megan and Kaitlyn; and brother, Gerald (Sandra) Fults of Owen.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Ruby Fults; and son, Allen Knight.
