Richards, Frank B. (22 AUG 1881 - 31 JAN 1957)

Frank B. Richards, 76, of Stanley, passed away suddenly Thursday afternoon, Jan. 31^st, 1957, while in the downtown district of Stanley.

He was born Aug. 22, 1881 in Tippecanoe Co., Indiana.  He was married to Ella Michael in 1900 in Indiana, and they moved to the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.).  They settled on a farm there, later going back to Indiana for a few years.  They then returned to Worden Township where they lived until ten years ago when they moved into the city of Stanley.  His wife preceded him in death in 1949, and one son.

Mr. Richards is survived by three sons and three daughters, Chalmer and Russell of Stanley; Melvin of Cornell; Mrs. Lloyd (Elsie) Stair and Mrs. Archie (Hazel) Schult, Stanley; and Mrs. Henry (Gladys) Junke of Boyd; one brother, Daniel of Lafayette, Ind.; 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at two o’clock at the Stanley Brethren Church with rev. Michael officiating.  Interment was in the Worden Cemetery.
