Granton, Wisconsin (12 November 1959)

 

The Granton Civic Club will meet Tuesday afternoon in the school.  Hostesses will be Mrs. Leonard Thiede and Mrs. William Schmidtke. The topic, "Face The Ladies", will be given by LaVern Rick, principal of the Granton Schools.

 

The Granton Happy Homemakers will meet this (Thursday) afternoon at the home of Mrs. Elsie Nowack.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Madler of Chili visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Finnegan and two daughters of Oshkosh visited Sunday with their aunt, Mrs. Hugh Berg.

 

Mrs. Elsie Nowack, who spent the summer at Sturgeon Bay, has returned to spend the winter at her home.  Sunday visitors were her daughters and their families; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hurtis and children of Marathon, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Reisner and two boys of Marshfield.

 

Mrs. Katherine Gray of Pasadena, Cal., is spending several weeks with her sister, Mrs. Michael Zahradka and family and her mother, Mrs. Carl Bladl.
