Anderegg, Marlene (Marriage - 5 September 1959)

Miss Marlene Anderegg was wearing a white, pure silk, organza over taffeta gown when she approached the altar, on the arm of her father to become the bride of Gary D. Kuechenmeister.

The gown was styled with a bouffant skirt with train, a large bow trim at the back, and a sequin-lace trimmed neckline. She carried a crescent arrangement of red roses centered with a pure white orchid.

The Rev. John Pfohl officiated at the double ring ceremony at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.  The church was decorated with gladioli.

Miss Jean Noeldner was at the organ and Miss Nelda Foelske sang, "Today, O Lord" and "The Lord’s Prayer."

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Anderegg, Loyal, Rt. 2, and Mr. and Mrs. Art Kuechenmeister, Neillsville, Rt. 1, are the parents of the couple.

Miss Patricia Krasselt, Spencer, cousin of the bride, was maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were, Miss Beverly Gross, Minneapolis, cousin of the bride and Miss Donna Kissling, Eau Claire, cousin of the groom.  Larene Scharf of Granton was flower girl.

The bride’s attendants carried crescent arrangements of pink carnations, and the flower girl carried a similar arrangement in miniature.

Dennis Kuechenmeister was his brother’s bestman.  Groomsmen were Marvin Anderegg of Janesville, brother of the bride, and Duane Kissling of Neillsville, cousin of the groom.   Ushers were Delmar Bartsch, uncle of the bride and Louie Paun, Neillsville.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by supper in the church dining hall for 250 guests.  Vases of zinnias decorated the dining tables.

The bride is a graduate of Loyal High School and an Eau Claire School of beauty culture.  She is employed in Marshfield.

The groom received his education at the Granton School.  He also is employed in Marshfield.

The couple is spending a honeymoon in northern Michigan.  After September 14 they will be at home at 703 East 4th Street, Marshfield.
