Humbird, Wisconsin (18 June 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Bagley and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Zhe of Osseo spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Victor Scheibe.

 

Marvin Schuld’s brother from Jefferson was an overnight guest Tuesday.

 

Mrs. David Olson of Milwaukee called on her grandmother, Mrs. Victor Scheibe Saturday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Roy Anderson and two children of Madison are visiting at the home of her mother, Mrs. Margaret Martin, and brothers, Lyle and Raymond.

 

Mrs. Jim Sutton and children of Merrillan were Tuesday evening visitors at the Henry Laffe home.

 

Mrs. Arlie Rosalock and Mrs. Ruth Peterson of Eau Claire, Mrs. Orpha Rogers of Marshfield and Charles Campbell of Bellingham, Wash., were afternoon and luncheon guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Newton.

 

Mrs. Mary Iffland, who has been visiting at the Louie and Henry Laffe homes, left Tuesday evening for the home of her sister, Mrs. Frank Haag at Melrose, and expected to return to her home in New London Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Schlei of Green Bay were overnight guests Saturday at the home of her sister, Mrs. Henry Laffe.

 

Strawberry season is in full swing and berries are coming in and are of good quality.
