Janesville Settlement (January - 1959)

 

Miss Mary Ann Parkel has returned to the State Teachers College at Menomonie after a two-week vacation spent with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parkel.

 

Dinner guests of the Henry Neilsen’s New Year’s Day were Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. John Neilsen and the Aage Neilsen family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Craig Asplin of Pleasant Ridge spent Sunday afternoon in Greenwood with his mother, Mrs. Clint Asplin, and were supper guests of the Clark Hatton’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neilsen and family spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. John Gotz.

 

Fred J. Barr is cutting off the timber on the former Charles Bostwick farm and will have it sawed into lumber.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neilsen and family spent Friday at Willard with the Elery Schwartzes.

 

Miss Alice Baughman of Neillsville spent the weekend here with her parents, the Ernest Baughman’s.

 

Jerry Franz of Greenwood spent several days last week with the Henry Neilsens.
