Hintz, Ida (29 Jan. 1883 - 30 June 1960)

 

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, for Mrs. Ida Hintz of the town of Holton, by the Rev. F. H. Sprengler, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Abbotsford. Burial was made in the town of Holton cemetery.

 

Pallbearers, all neighbors, were Walter Fitense, Fred Meske, Henry Jacobi, Ed Koehler, Louis Beilke, and Alvin Jacobi. Miss Dorothy Kieser and Mrs. Weldon Brown sang.

 

Mrs. Hintz, 77, died Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Della Leahy, town of Holton, after an illness of two years.

 

The former Ida Prange was born Jan. 29, 1883, in the town of Holton. She attended local schools and lived in this area all her life. She was married to William Hintz May 27, 1906.

 

Besides her daughter, she is survived by her husband; three brothers, Christ Prange, Chelsea; Reinhold Prange, Greenwood; and Herman Prange, Amamoose, No. Dak.; and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Baumgart, Fifield; and Mrs. Chris Daellenbach, Siren. There are 13 grand children and two great grand children.

 

Relatives came from Siren, Fifield, Chelsea, Greenwood, and Withee, to attend the funeral.
