Holubok, Rose C. (4 SEP 1950)

Now at their home after honeymooning in Yellowstone National Park and points in Wisconsin are Mr. and Mrs. Francis S. Elsinger, who were married in a ceremony on Labor Day in St. Thomas Church, Kent, Minn.  The Rev. Fr. Warmer officiated at the 9 o’clock rites.

The bride, the former Miss Rose C. Holubok, is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Holubok, Rothsay, Minn., while her husband is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger, Sr., Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).

An all lace white gown detailed with seed pearl embroidery was selected by the bride.  Clusters of orange blossoms formed the decorations on her lace cap which secured her nylon veil.  She carried a white prayer book topped by an orchid with stephanotis streamers.

Her two attendants, Miss Eleanor Pfiefer, as maid of honor, and Miss Lynn Hoffman as bridesmaid, both of St. Cloud, Minn., wore ankle length identically styled gowns of gold and moss green taffeta, respectively.  Completing their ensembles were matching hats and gloves and colonial bouquets of asters and stephanotis.

Filling the role of best man was Harold Rogstad, Bismarck, N.D., while Donald Holubok, the bride’s brother, Rothsay, Minn., was the groomsman.

Two nephews of the groom, Kenneth and Francis Elsinger, Dell Rapids, S.D., were ushers.

Before her marriage Mrs. Elsinger, who is a graduate of St. Louis High School, Minot, N.D., and St. Alexius School of Nursing, Bismarck, N.D., was employed at the U.S. Veterans Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn.  Her husband, a graduate of Loyal High School, is a veteran of 18 months of service in the U.S. Army.

They will reside at 318 9th St., Bismarck, N.D., where Mr. Elsinger is employed by Ed Rogstad, contractor and builder.

Coming from away for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Elsinger and sons, Francis and Kenneth, Dell Rapids, S.D., Gerald Elsinger, Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Thomas Goode, Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Richard Reuter, Marshall, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rogstad, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rogstad, Bismarck, N.D., Mr. and Mrs. Ed King, Mr. and Mrs. F. Conton, Dickenson, N.D., Mrs. Lucille Mullowney, Mrs. Dorothy Fedema, St. Cloud, Minn., Miss Mary Slag, Valley City, N.D., and Mr. and Mrs. John Elsinger, Loyal.

To the newlyweds, The Loyal Tribune extends its heartiest congratulations and best wishes for the future.
