Olsen, Ella #2 (1 JUL 1950)

Now residing at the home of his parents in the town of Loyal are Mr. and Mrs. James Stevens, whose marriage was solemnized at 8 o’clock Saturday evening, July 1, at the Trinity Lutheran Church here.  The Rev. J. C. Langholz was the officiating clergyman.

The bride, the former Ella Olsen, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Olsen, while the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Stevens.

A white suit with white accessories, accented with a corsage of deep pink roses, was selected by the bride.

Mrs. Claire Schlinsog of Willard, the matron of honor, wore a deep rust suit, with white accessories ,and complemented with a corsage of yellow roses.

The groom’s attendant was Floyd Olsen, brother of the bride.  Ushers were Henry Knoll and Allan Quast.

Following the ceremony, 50 guests were entertained at a reception at the home of the bride’s parents.  A honeymoon was spent in northern Wisconsin.

Both graduated from the Loyal High School with the class of 1950.

The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
