He is survived by his wife; a step-son, A.G. Drake of Loyal; an adopted son, Ernest Simmons of Medford; a sister, Mrs. Ann Hutchins of Loyal; a brother, Otto Catlin of Neillsville; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Three sisters and three brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services for Mr. Catlin were held at 1:30 p.m. last Wednesday at the Swarthout Funeral Home in Spencer.  The Rev. Raymond J. Fleming, pastor of the Spencer and Marshfield Methodist churches, conducted the rites, and burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Neil Johnston, Henry Rottjer, Edgar Vick, Lothar Oestreich, Frank Schwanke and Earl Reinertson were pallbearers, and other local Masons attended the funeral in a body, and a Masonic service was held at the grave.
