Stock, Rose  (27 NOV 1948)

The marriage of Miss Rose Stock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Stock of Withee, and Charles R. Pralguske, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Pralguske of Withee, took place on Nov. 27 at the Holy Rosary Catholic church in Owen. The Rev. Fr. Raymond Bornbach performed the 9:30 a.m. ceremony.

White satin, inserted with lace, was worn by the bride. A beaded heart-shaped headdress held her finger-tip veil, and she carried white carnations.

Miss Patricia Hamm, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a gown of aqua moiré, styled with a long-sleeved jacket. Her bouquet was of pink and white carnations and yellow button mums. Bridesmaid was Miss Nancy Hamm, another cousin, who was attired in a lavender-moire gown and wore matching gauntlets. Her flowers were the same as those of the maid of honor.

Attending the groom was Bert and Herbert Stock of Withee, brothers of the bride.

A reception for immediate relatives was held in the Owen community hall.

Out-of-town guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stock, Mr. and Mrs. John Stock and Mr. and Mrs. John Pralguske of Chicago, and Myron McCreedy of Shiocton.

The groom attended Spring Valley grade school, and the bride attended Mason grammar school and Farregut high school in Chicago.

The newly woods are now living in Loyal. Mr. Pralguske is employed by the Clark county highway department.

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
