Burzynski, Charlotte J. (18 FEB 1956)

At home it Chicago is in the immediate plans of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Vernon Olejniczak, rural Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) residents who were married Saturday at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at Thorp.

The bride, nee Charlotte Jean Burzynski, is the daughter of Mrs. Lottie Burzynski, route 1, Thorp, and the bridegroom’s mother is Mrs. Verna Olejniczak of router 2, Thorp.

The Rev. Francis Piekarski celebrated the Mass and performed the wedding in a 10:00 o’clock ceremony Saturday morning.

Gowns of the bride and her attendants were all waltz length and featured ruffled net.  Chantilly lace fashioned the bodice of the bridal gown, which was finished with wrist length tapered sleeves and a mandarin collar above a yoke of illusion net.  Nylon tulle was used in the skirt, with a cutout patterned peplum over a layer of net ruffles.

Silk illusion veinling fell to fingertip length from a double crown of pearls interspersed with rhinestones.

Pastel tones of blue, pink and yellow were chosen for the gowns of her attendants, Miss Kathleen Mikolainis, maid of honor, and the bridesmaids, Miss Loretta Burzynski and Miss Sandra Olejniczak, sister of the bride and groom.  Miss Mikolainis wore a bouffant skirted dress of nylon net over a layer of ruffles and taffeta, while the bridesmaids’ frocks were made of nylon lace over skirts of net ruffles and taffeta.

Pink and white carnations were entwined into wrist corsages for the three attendants.

A cousin of the bridegroom, Leslie Deutschlander of Thorp, was his best man, and Bernard Burzynski, the bride’s brother, was groomsman.

Two flower girls, Cheryl Deutschlander of Thorp, and Sandra Lindquist of Withee, were seen in white net over taffeta, as they completed the bridal party.

Following the ceremony, a wedding breakfast was served to members of the immediate families at the home of the bride’s mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Olejniczak have reported their plans for residence in Chicago, where the former is employed with the Sunbeam Corporation.
