Vick, Maridean (05 JUNE 1948)

 

Miss Maridean Vick, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Vick, and Lawrence Hagens, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Hagens, were married at St. Patrick’s Catholic church in Eau Claire at 9 o’clock Saturday morning, June 5. The Rev. Fr. J. Francis Brady heard the marriage vows before the altar decorated with white peonies. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hagens of Dawson, N.D., were the attendants.

 

The bride wore a blue suit, with white accessories and had a corsage of pink and white carnations and sweet peas. Mrs.Hagens wore a brown checked suit. Her corsage was of pink roses and sweet peas.

 

Luncheon for 20 was served at the Northwoods room of the Hotel Eau Claire.

 

Following a honeymoon trip to northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, the couple is now living at 502 ½ North Fourth street, in Eau Claire. The groom is employed at the Dolly Madison Dairy in Eau Claire. The bride is a graduate of the Eau Claire State Teachers college, and for the past two years has been taught in the Mauston school. She graduated from the Loyal high school in 1943.

 

Those from away who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Michael Schachtely and family of West Allis, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Czecholinski and family  of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hagens and family of Dawson, N.D., Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Hagens and son, Gerald, of Fall River, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hagens of Juneau.

 

The Loyal Tribune joins their many friends in wishing them a long and happy journey through life.
