Piotrowski, Julian #2 (4 FEB 1902 - 21 NOV 1957)

 

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at two o’clock from the Hoeper and Kraut Fuenral Home for Julian Piotrowski, 55, who choked to death while returning to his home in the Lublin area with a deer hunting party early Thursday morning of last week.

 

Piotrowski, a farm hand and a longtime resident of the Lublin area, had stopped with his hunting companions to eat in the Lublin area about 1:00 a.m. before returning home from hunting.  He choked on a piece of meat and when his companions were unable to dislodge it they rushed him to Thorp where he was pronounce dead by a Thorp physician.

 

He was born in Pennsylvania on Feb. 4, 1902, and came to Wisconsin in 1909 with his parents, and resided on a farm six miles north of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).  He was engaged in farming all of his life and at the time of his death was employed by Walter Novak.

 

He leaves to mourn, his brothers, jack Piotrowski of Withee and Tony Piotrowski of McHenry, Ill., and two nieces, Wanda (Mrs. Lawrence Konik) of Withee, Adeline (Mrs. John Staffei) of Chicago, and a nephew Eugene Piotrowski of Illinois.

 

Services were conducted on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Claybaugh officiating.  Mrs. don Marshall sang two hymns with Mrs. Maxine Christophersen accompanying on the orga.

 

Pallbearers were Walter Novak, Lloyd Hamel, Eugene Fischer, Ed Tytor, Alex Hargot and Ed Zajac.
