Degenhardt, Eleanor (11 OCT 1947)

A quiet double-ring ceremony was performed at 9:30 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Catholic parsonage, when the Rev. Fr. Aloys Zinthefer read the nuptial vows uniting in marriage Miss Eleanor Degenhardt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Degenhardt, and Edward Bowman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bowman

The bride chose a soldier blue suit and wore a corsage of pink and white carnations. The bridesmaid, Miss Jane Searvogel, wore a medium blue suit and wore a matching corsage.

Edward Degenhardt, brother of the bride, was best man.

Dinner and supper were served to about 50 guests at the home of the bride’s parents.

A dance and shower was given in the evening at the Granton hall.

The groom is a graduate of the Loyal high school with the class of 1936.

To the newlyweds, The Loyal Tribune extends its wishes for a long and happy married life.
