Saturday evening at the home of the bride’s parents occurred the marriage of Miss Hazel Crandall and Mr. William Wood.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. Risser and the bridal couple was attended by Miss Jessie Dwyer and Fred Wood.  The bride wore white net over white marquisette and carried white roses and the bride’s maid wore pink crepe de chine over yellow marquisette.  The wedding was attended only by relatives of the couple and a few close friends.  Mr. and Mrs. Wood left on the midnight train for Chicago and after spending Christmas with the groom’s parents at Appleton, will return to Owen to take up their residence. 
 

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N.E. Crandall and is a most highly esteemed and charming young lady.  She is a graduate of the Neillsville high school, has served as a teacher in nearly schools and has always been a social favorite among the younger set of this city.  Mr. Wood is a son of Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Wood and is a former Neillsville boy.  He at present holds a highly responsible position with the John Owen Lumber Co. of Owen and the high regard in which he is held there is merited by his energy, geniality and careful attention to his duties.  Mr. and Mrs. Wood are young people for whom their many friends in this city entertain the highest regard and earnest wishes for their future welfare.
