Robinson, Fern (20 Nov 1912)

Last Wednesday afternoon Robert Dwyer and Miss Fern Robinson stole a march on their friends when they went to Marshfield and were united in marriage by Rev. Laird.  The event, while not altogether unexpected, was a surprise in that it was not expected at this time.  The young couple returned here and are now at home at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dwyer.  Robert is a young man who is well known in this city, having been connected with musical circles for several years, and being an expert electrician.  He is a young man of more than ordinary ability and ingenuity and his mechanical turn of mind has been the source of much enjoyment and profit to himself and friends.  His bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arlo Robinson of Christie and is a highly capable and pleasant young lady.  She is a graduate of the Neillsville high school and a young lady whose winsome manners has made her a host of friends in this city.  Mr. and Mrs. Dwyer expect to remain here this winter, or until their plans for their future are definitely settled.
