Sara Steinmetz and Joey Larson of Little Chute were united n marriage on Sept 19, 2009, in a garden ceremony at the bride’s parental home in Dorchester.   
 

The bride is the daughter of Brian and Sheila Steinmetz, Dorchester, and is a 2001 graduate of Colby High School and UW-Stevens Point in 2005.   
 

The groom is the son of Jack and Lori Larson, Kaukauna, and Julie Frassetto, Kaukauna. He graduated in 2002 from Little Chute High School and Fox Valley Technical College in 2007.   
 

The bride wore a strapless a-line gown with split front skirt of beaded lace with sweep train complimented by a cathedral veil. She also wore a necklace of pearls her grandmother wore on her wedding day in 1949.    
 

Bridesmaids were Jen Ewert, friend of the couple, Brenda Larson, sister-in-law of the groom, Natalie Lahti, friend of the couple, and Kassie Selck, friend of the couple.   
 

Honorary bridesmaids were Charity Feldbruegge Schlake, friend of the couple, and Jamie Bosch, sister of the groom.   
 

Groomsmen were Scott Frelich, friend of the couple, Josh Larson, brother of the groom, Chad Steinmetz, brother of the bride, and Jon Larson, brother of the groom.   
 

Ushers were Alan Newberry, friend of the couple, Jason Schampers, friend of the couple, and Ryan Quella, friend of the couple.   
 

The ring-bearer was Jake Frelich, godson of the groom.   
 

The photographer was Jim Brandt, Colby.   
 

Also included in the wedding party were Sara and Joey’s dogs, Rosco and Lenny.   
 

A reception was held at Meadowview Golf Course in Owen. An additional reception was held in Kaukauna on October 5, 2009.   
 

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.   
 

The bride is a therapy department and compliance officer at the Hand and Upper Extremity Center in Appleton.   
 

The groom is a security manager of Covenant Security Services in Neenah. 
 

They have made their home in Little Chute.
