LeZotte, Adolphus (27 Apr 1860 - 28 May 1912)

[In a second obituary Adolphus LeZotte is listed as Murrey Lezotte.]

Adolphus LeZotte died at his home in the town of Rock, Wood county, May 28th, after an illness extending over a period of several months.  Mr. LeZotte was born in Ontario, Canada, April 27, 1860.  He became a resident of Clark county in 1865, and during all his lifetime he has followed the vocation of farming.  He was united in marriage in 1878 to May Bicknow and to this union a son and daughter were born.  For four years he had been a resident of Wood county, and during the 47 years of his residence in this vicinity he demonstrated himself as a capable and reliable gentleman.  He was industrious and painstaking and fully deserved the sincere friendship of the large acquaintance that was his.  Mr. LeZotte is survived by his wife and two children; four brothers, Mathew, Anthony, William and Joseph and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Yankee of Tony.  Also one nephew, Tony.  The remains were brought here for burial Saturday.  Services were held at the Catholic church and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.  The deceased’s brother, Mathew, was here from Ft. Atkinson for the funeral.

Lezotte Family Mystery Photos

I am thinking these photos are Matthias Lezotte's boys. The boys that were married were Matthew(Pat), Adolphus(Murray), Anthony(Tony), William(Bill), and Charles (Charlie). I know that the pictures are not Anthony or Charles. Anyone who knows who these are please notify me at my email.  Linda Berres
