Altmann, Karlene A. (Marriage - 30 January 1982) 
 

Karlene A. Altmann and James p. Luedtke were united in marriage on Saturday afternoon, January 30, by the Rev. George Passehl at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. 
 

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. James Altmann of Marshfield and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Luedtke, Rt. 2, Neillsville. 
 

Attending the bride were Kathy Altmann as maid of honor, Joan Wirkus of Marshfield and Susan Luedtke of Neillsville.  On the groom’s side was John Luedtke as bestman, James Altmann, Jr., of Marshfield and Bernie Luedtke of Racine.  Ushering were John Altmann of Marshfield and Daniel Luedtke of Neillsville. 
 

Special music at the service was offered by Nancy Kipp and Kris Ross. 
 

The bride wore an Edwardian-styled gown of organza and Chantilly lace, featuring a chapel-length train.  She carried a bouquet of roses, white carnations, baby’s breath and streamers of stephanotis.  Her attendants wore gowns in the blouson style with blue knit, pleated skirts.  Each wore a white muff with stephanotis. 
 

Following the rites, a reception and dance was held at the Marshfield’s KC’s clubhouse. 
 

The new Mr. and Mrs. Luedtke will make their home in Marshfield.  She is a 1980 graduate of Marshfield Senior High and is employed by K-Mart in Marshfield.  He, is a 1979 graduate of Neillsville High, and is a farmer.
