Dimeo, Kimberly (Marriage - 18 July 1981) 
 

The Rev. Norman Lindloff officiated at the Saturday afternoon, July 18, wedding of Kimberly Ann Dimeo and Robert Donald Wetzel held at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville.   
 

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dimeo, 126 East Ninth St., Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wetzel, Rt. 4, Neillsville. 
 

Deon Anason, a friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. She was joined by Rhonda Roehl, another friend. Both are from Neillsville. 
 

On the groom’s side, Randy Roehl, a cousin of the groom, was bestman.  He was joined by James Wetzel, the groom’s brother.  Both are from Neillsville.  Ushering were Rodney Roehl, the groom’s cousin of Neillsville, and John Fox, a nephew of the bride from Mt. Horeb.   
 

Serving as ringbearer was Michael Gerretsen, a nephew of the bride from Marshfield.  Flower girl was Lynn Wetzel, the groom’s sister of Neillsville. 
 

Paul and Beth Tess offered special music during the ceremony. 
 

The bride chose a gown in a high-necked and lace style. She also wore a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of daisies, carnations and roses.  Her attendants wore blue knit gowns featuring ribbon straps; they carried bouquets of daisies, carnations and baby’s breath.  The groom and his attendants were attired in blue tuxedos. 
 

Following the service, a reception was held at the Neillsville American Legion Hall.  The couple then left on a one-week trip t o Wisconsin Dells.  They will make their home on East Sixth Street in Neillsville.   
 

The bride attended Neillsville High School.  The groom, a graduate of the same school, also attended District I Technical School in Eau Claire and is now a farmer. 
 

Prenuptial events included a bridal shower hosted by sister of the bride, Karen Arndt and Jean Gerretsen; and another shower hosted by Karen Mohr, Sharon Wetzel, Hazel Roehl and Florence Wiesner, all aunts of the groom.
