Frost, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost.  The 8 p.m. candlelight ceremony was performed by Pastor LaVern L. Grosc.  Baskets of white gladiolas and large blue daisies decorated the church.

The bride, who is the daughter of Mrs. Mary Winters of Los Angeles, Calif., was given in marriage by David O. The groom’s only attendant was Mr. Norman Collins as best man, while Stephen Williams, David Shaw, Charles Collins and Michael Griffin ushered.  Al wore white dinner jackets and dark trousers.

Mr. Jon Spong, as organist, played Psalm 19 for the processional and Toccata by Widor as recessional.  He also accompanied the soloist, Mrs. Louis Smith, Jr., as she sang "Entreat Me Not to Leave Thee" by Gpunod, before the ceremony, and the "Nuptial Benediction," as the couple knelt at the altar.

Presiding at the reception held in the church parlors immediately following the ceremony were the bride’s twin sister, Mrs. Jack Asbury of Shenandoah, Ia.  The groom’s sister, Mrs. William Fisher, and Mrs. Norman Collins.

The groom’s mother wore a navy blue dress  with white accessories and an orchid corsage.

The bride is employed as secretary with a grain broker firm in Des Moines, while the groom, who is a graduate of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) High School and Grand View College and Drake University, Des Moines, is Chairman Department of Social Studies, Amos Hiatt, Jr. High School of that city.

Guests attending the ceremony from out of town were from Withee, Wis., Mt. Prospect and Prairie View, Ill., and Ames, Roland, Shenandoah, and Iowa City, Iowa.

On July 31 a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents, at which time they also were honored by a shower given them by the Frenchtown community.

The buffet supper was served at 4 o’clock preceding the ceremony, to about 40 relatives and out of town guests.

The couple will make their home in Des Moines, Iowa.
