Bergant, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (51st - 21 April 1958)
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bergant of Willard
celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary with a family
reunion at their farm home July 13.
Those attending were the following
children and grandchildren: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bogolin and sons,
Kenneth and Gary, of North Riverside, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. George
Papacek and daughter, Marianne, of Downers Grove, Ill.; Mr. and
Mrs. August Stremikis, John and Frank Bergant of Willard; Mr. and
Mrs. Vernon Gilbertson and son, Larry of Marshfield; and Mr. and
Mrs. Perry Berg of Strum.
Mr. and Mrs. Bergant are originally from
Slovenia, Europe. They first settled in northern Minnesota,
where Mr. Bergant worked for a time in the iron ore mines. They
then came to Wisconsin and settled on a farm north of Willard, and
later moved onto their present farm, southwest of
Willard.
They were married April 21, 1904, and have three sons and three daughters, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
