Scholze, Duane "Dick" (30 November 1957 - 17 February 2010) 
 

Duane "Dick" Scholze, 52, of Humbird, passed away at Black River Falls Memorial Hospital, Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. 
 

Duane Aaron Scholze, son of Louis and Elizabeth (Fritsche) Scholze, was born Nov. 30, 1957, in Humbird, Wis.  As a child he attended elementary school in Humbird and graduated in 1976 from Lincoln High School in Alma Center.  He was united in marriage to Ann Gleason July 3, 1977, in Humbird. 
 

Duane lived all of his life within five miles of Humbird.  Duane truly enjoyed his career as a herdsman.  He was employed by M and M Dairy in Humbird, where he worked diligently raising the best herds he could. 
 

He had been on the Jackson County Equity Board.  In his off time he enjoyed the time spent with his family, hunting and following the Green Bay Packers. 
 

He is survived by his wife, Ann of Humbird; two children, Aaron Scholze and BethAnne Scholze, both of Humbird; three brothers, Marvin (Minnie) Scholze, David (Sue) Scholze, both of Humbird, and Allen (Barb) Scholze of Fall Creek; sister, Marilyn Scholze (Paul Thomas) of San Francisco, CA; aunts and uncles, Ruth Holman, Delores Voight, Lawrence and Nancy Scholze, Frank and Ilene Scholze, Reuben and Janet Scholze, Leone, Mary, Ella Jean and Verna Scholze; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. 
 

He was preceded in death by his parents. 
 

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta.  Burial will be in the spring in the Mentor Cemetery at Humbird. 
 

Note: Duane "Dick" Scholze is buried in Mentor Cemetery at Humbird, Wisconsin.
