Bohnsack, William (3 September 1886 - 8 March 1958) 
 

William Bohnsack, 71, of Neillsville, died March 8, at his home.  Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Neillsville Methodist Church. The Rev. Virgil Holmes officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery. 
 

He was born September 3, 1886, at Milford, the son of the late Christ and Ernestina (Critzwacher) Bohnsack.  He received his education in Milford, and when he was 17 came with his parents to Clark County, locating on a  farm in the Town of Weston.  He continued to farm until six years ago, when he moved into the city.  He had been ill for the past two weeks. 
 

He was a member of the Methodist Church and served as a member of the Uncle Sam School board for several years.  His marriage to the former Hanna Campbell took place April 18, 1916. 
 

He is survived by his wife and two children, Mrs. Joseph (Agnes) Hopka, Fond du Lac, and Lawrence, on the home farm on Rt. 3.  A brother, Julius Bohnsack and three grandchildren also survive. 
 

H. Randolph Briggs, vocalist sang, "Nearer my God to Thee," and "The Old Rugged Cross," accompanied by Miss Sharry Briggs. 
 

Pallbearers were: Paul Jacob, Alvin Jacob, Donald Acheson, Otto Hainz, August Janke and Herman Schultz. 
 

People from out of town attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hopka, Miss Marcella Hopka and Gerald Hopka, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Silvernale, Mrs. Amber Conrad, Miss Philinda Conrad, Red Wing, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Hein and Mrs. Grace Hein, Spencer; and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dahnert, Wisconsin Rapids.
