Luoma, Joan (15 MAR 1955)

Joan Elizabeth Luoma and A/B Robert Boening were united in marriage at a nuptial mass read at 11 a.m. March 15th, 1955 at Chapel No. 2 at Parks Air Force Base in California.  The double ring ceremony was officiated at by Father Thomas J. Moran.

The bride wore a blue suit with white accessories and an orchid shoulder corsage.  Her husband wore the conventional air force uniform.  They were attended by Mary Arlene White, a WAF stationed at Parks Air Base and A/B Michael R. Bertsch, both of whom are close friends of the bridegroom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eino Luoma, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).  She is a graduate of the Owen Grade School and graduated from Withee High School in 1954.  For a year pervious to her marriage she was employed as a stenographer in the Owen office of the Western Condensing Co.  Her husband is the son of Mrs. Ralph Weideman, Withee, and is also a graduate of the Withee school system with the class of 1954.  In January he enlisted in the air force and has been stationed at Parks Air base ever since.

Presently Mrs. Boening is making her home at 1064A Street, Hayward, Calif., until such time as her husband completes his basic training and their new station and home address is determined.
