Dehmer, Amanda (12 July 1894 - 11 March 1957)

A former Neillsville resident, Mrs. Amanda (Schroeder) Dehmer, 62, died March 11, at her home in Milwaukee.  Funeral services were held Saturday from the Georgas Funeral Home, with the Rev. Frank B. Harcey, pastor of the Congregational Church, in charge.  Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Dehmer was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schroeder.  She was born July 12, 1894, in Chicago, and came with her parents to Clark County in 1900.  They located on a farm in the Town of Levis, and her education was received in the rural schools of that town.  Prior to her marriage she worked in Neillsville and Milwaukee.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Herman (Elsie) Pagenkopf, Neillsville; and a brother, Charles Schroeder, also of Neillsville.

Pallbearers were: Albert Sollberger, Charles Anding, Fred Stelloh, Donald Acheson, Frank Meihack and Frank Luck.
